Artem “Fng” Barshak does not believe that the best esports players will be more popular than the top representatives of traditional sports disciplines, and he considers Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok from League of Legends to be the only star pro-player who is widely known outside the gaming comunity.

"No, that will never happen. Esports is not popular enough or accessible enough to reach that level. The only one who stands out right now is Faker from League of Legends. He is extremely popular and has profited from it in ways that are atypical for esports."

Acording to Artem “Fng” Barshak, he does not believe that Ilya ‘Yatoro’ Mulyarchuk, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov, Ilya “M0nesy” Osipov, or Danil ‘Donk’ Kryshkovets will ever be able to reach the level of popularity of representatives of real sports disciplines, and only Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok has been able to achieve the highest level of popularity, which is atypical for esports.
