FISSURE Universe Episode 5 Play-In: Schedule, Standings, Results

FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 Play-In is the qualifying stage for the main tournament, organized by FISSURE. The competition will take place online from May 12 to May 18, 2025, featuring 10 invited teams from various regions. Participants will compete for two coveted slots in the upcoming FISSURE Universe: Episode 5 main event.

The group stage will run from May 12 to May 15, consisting of two groups of five teams playing in a round-robin format. All matches in the group stage will be Best-of-2. The top two teams from each group will advance to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while third-place teams will move to the lower bracket. The remaining teams will be eliminated. The playoffs will take place from May 16 to May 18 in a double-elimination format. All matches, except for the lower bracket final, will be played as Best-of-3; the lower bracket final will be Best-of-5. There is no monetary prize at this stage, but the top two teams will earn a spot in the main tournament, FISSURE Universe: Episode 5.

Group Stage - May 12 - May 15, 2025
- Two groups of five teams each in round-robin
- All matches are Bo2
- Top two teams from each group advance to the upper bracket
- 3rd place team from each group advance to the lower bracket
- Remaining teams are eliminated

Playoffs - May 16 - May 18, 2025
- Double-elimination bracket
- Lower Bracket Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3
- Two teams qualify to the main tournament
