FISSURE responded to claims about unpaid CS2 prize money for 2025, but noted that the delays occurred for reasons beyond their control.

This was reported in the tournament operator’s official Telegram channel.

“We see discussions in the community regarding prize payments for last year, which were triggered by a statement from Messioso. We have already contacted him directly to clarify the details and understand what this perception of the situation is based on. We would like to point out that we have established individual working communication channels with all teams and their management, through which all operational and financial matters are handled.

At the moment for reasons beyond our control, we are experiencing temporary difficulties with payment infrastructure which we are actively resolving. Unfortunately this affects the speed of certain transactions. We continue to make prize payments. For us this is a top priority. Unfortunately due to banking procedures some payments take longer than we would like, but we are working on it.

We cannot publicly comment on amounts recipients or the status of individual cases — this is confidential information and is often tied to banking requirements. Over the past few years, we have paid out more than $7,000,000 in prize money. We will fully meet all obligations to teams, as we have done before”

FISSURE clarified that they remain in contact with all teams that have not yet received their prize money and are trying to resolve the situation. The organizer did not disclose the exact amounts involved, but in 2025 two tournaments were held with a total prize pool of $950,000.

There is currently no information on when the issues will be resolved, but it is likely that the payment delays will not affect upcoming CS2 tournaments organized by FISSURE.

Earlier 100 Thieves accused FISSURE of failing to pay prize money from last year.
