Dmitry "Fishman" Polischuk, captain of
Entity, stated that organizers of Riyadh Masters 2024 wanted to ban him due to a slap to Edgar "9Class" Naltakyan, a player from
Tundra Esports.
The esports player shared this on his Telegram channel.
"I agree that I shouldn't have stooped to 9Class's level and resorted to personal attacks. Yes, I did that. It was wrong. I approached him at LAN, gave him a slap. He was like, 'Aaaah, a slap, help.' Because of this, ESL wanted to ban me. Organizers discussed it as physical abuse. I even had to apologize to 9Class. Then he started poking me, typing in chat, saying things from the stage. And I couldn't respond to him"
The pro player mentioned that after the scandal, 9Class began gloating and poking at him, but he couldn't retaliate. Fishman admitted he shouldn't have engaged in trash talk, but he believes 9Class was the instigator of the conflict.
"Here's what I've learned. It's better not to get involved with 9Class and not stoop to his level. I made a mistake starting the trash talk. I'm not someone who starts conflicts. I think 9Class behaved very poorly and provoked me. Let's close this topic"
Recall that 9Class reported that organizers of Riyadh Masters 2024 fined Fishman $8,000.
