The organizers of the 2024 Riyadh Masters fined Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk, the captain of
Entity, with $8000 according to Edgar “9Class,” a representative from
Tundra Esports. He was said to have fought physically with other players and insulted them while in the game.
This was shared on his Telegram channel by 9Class.
“From this context I thought it was obvious who got fined. Fishman for some reason started shouting at me like a monkey and flicked me on my head and grabbed my shoulder. I must admit that it shocked me to see someone resorting to physical violence during an event. However, ESL quickly resolved this issue so he doesn’t ever approach me any more”
However, previously, the pro-player had implied that there was a scandal between
Tundra Esports and
Entity at Riyadh Masters 2024 but most people assumed incorrectly that Pure’s team members are the ones who were fined. This turned out to be wrong after all because as stated by 9Class, it is Fishman who initiated everything by giving flick and taking hold of his opponent’s shoulder.
As yet, neither tournament organizers nor
Entity team-captain has given their version of events or commented on what happened.
It should be noted that earlier there were reports suggesting that
Tundra Esports had received punishment for using unfair techniques after one match.
