Dmitry “Fishman” Polishchuk said that he flicked Edgar “9Class” Naltakyan because of his terrible behavior in Dota 2 matchmaking, and that’s why he snapped during the tournament.
The esports player talked about this during his Twitch stream.
“We talked, even texted. Then he ranked up, started playing Dota. And every time he won the lane against me, he wrote some nasty stuff. And it pissed me off, my *** was burning like crazy, you can’t imagine. And at some point I wrote that he was behaving badly, like ***, well you know what happened next”
According to him, he knew 9Class back when he only had rank 200 and even said he had a promising future on the Dota 2 pro scene. However, Fishman stressed that after climbing in rank, he started behaving worse and worse and intentionally wrote insults to him in matchmaking, and eventually the esports player snapped and flicked him.
“After some time I can say that I acted like a kid, like I often do in stressful situations. If I said I would do something, I went and did ***, why? They could have even banned me from all the Riyadh Masters tournaments. Thank god everything got sorted fine. And now I’m even cheering for PARIVISION”
He said he admits he was wrong in this situation and should’ve acted wiser. He also noted that they could’ve even banned him after that, but the conflict was eventually settled.
