Analyst Ben “Noxville” Steenhuisen, tweeted that the organizers of ESL One Birmingham 2020 have forbidden several teams from each organization to participate in the tournament, referring via OG Seed's manager:
It's been confirmed to me via OG Seed's manager that ESL told multi-team organizations that they could only have a single team representing them at the event, and OG Seed couldn't even do Open Qualifiers for the event.
ESL One Birmingham organizers announced a list of invited teams to the main stage of the tournament on May 13, but the main roster of Virtus.pro didn`t appear among them.
VP.Prodigy will play instead of the main roster. They showed high skills throughout WePlay! Pushka League Season 1: Division 1, where took second place in a tournament and lost to Team Secret in the grand final with a score of 0:3.
