ESL One Birmingham 2024 has been announced: the tournament start date and prize pool revealed

The next major ESL tournament for Dota 2 is set to take place in Birmingham, United Kingdom, scheduled for April 2024.

The announcement was made on ESL's social media platforms, accompanied by a special video posted on the organization's YouTube page.

ESL One Birmingham 2024 is slated to run from April 22 to April 28, preceding DreamLeague Season 22 within the second season of the ESL Pro Tour. Open qualifiers for the tournament in the UK are planned for January 22-25, with closed qualifiers set for January 26-30.

This tournament marks the fourth stop in the second season of the ESL Pro Tour. Teams will compete for 26,640 Dota 2 Pro Circuit points. The tournament will feature 12 teams, with four receiving direct invitations, and the rest determined through regional qualifiers.

The prize pool for the tournament is one million dollars, distributed among the teams based on their final standings in the tournament.
