ESL transferred the ESL Pro Tour slot from
Xtreme Gaming to
Azure Ray but penalized the team with a 30% deduction in EPT points. Now, the roster led by Wang 'Ame' Chunyu holds the third spot in the leaderboard.
This information is reflected in the updated standings on the official ESL website.

As evident, the team was credited with only 3360 points instead of the 4800 earned by
Azure Ray for their victory at ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. This decision was made based on the fact that Go 'Xm' Hunchen, Lin 'Xxs' Jin, and Zhao 'XinQ' Zysin, who played for
Azure Ray, moved to the
Xtreme Gaming lineup.

Many were surprised by this decision, as even XinQ speculated that ESL might nullify all the points earned at the tournament. Nevertheless, this means that
Xtreme Gaming won't have to go through regional qualifiers and will receive a direct invite to the next major ESL tournament.
