Dyrachyo surprised everyone with his statement after comparing CS2 and Dota 2

Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov accepts that compared to Dota 2, he finds CS2 much more appealing and entertaining as it is obvious to him that MOBA tournaments do not inspire any emotions in him at all.

The esports athlete presented this view during a discussion on the Telegram channel sapp0r0.

“In my perspective, CS is farospectacularthat Dota. In a nutshell, and it’s easy to comprehend, the level of suspense is high because winning a round is possible in a 1 vs 5 situation. It feels as if you are playing basketball; the level of tension is always at its peak. On the other hand Dota, does not provide for comebacks. There are no chances of making a turnaround meaning less arousal unlike CS."

In the words of Dyrachyo, CS2 can be considered like basketball in the aspect of tension, in these games, the primacy remains until the last tip-off. While in contrast, Dota 2 is clearer while losing, there is no cousin surrounding the result.

He emphasized that a single player in CS2 can single-handedly win the game by eliminating the entire enemy team which is impossible to do with a MOBA. For that reason Dyrachyo thinks that CS2 supersedes Dota 2 in the aspect of viewing.

Interestingly, this aligns with the previous studies conducted on esports sorts, especially that of esports FPS players, whose sustained attention and stress response is often higher as compared to MOBA players, who depend heavily on long term tactics. Maybe Dyrachyo’s preference for CS2 stems from this dynamic.
