Valve may refrain from releasing team bundles in Dota 2 this season, possibly connected to the decision to cancel the DPC in 2024.
Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov, the carry for
Gaimin Gladiators, shared this information during a Twitch stream.
"No more bundles"
The esports player did not provide detailed information, but it seems that the developers might have decided to discontinue this content, which was introduced to the game back in 2021. Typically, stickers, voice lines, emojis, and other team-themed souvenirs of various rarities were released for sale during The International. This was quite profitable for the teams, as they received 50% of the revenue.
However, Dota 2 developers have not yet offered official comments on this matter, so it's possible that such plans are still under consideration or may be abandoned altogether.
Recall that Valve promised compensation to players who encountered the Frostivus 2023 Treasure bug.
