Dyrachyo revealed how Tundra Esports created serious difficulties for Gaimin Gladiators

Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, the carry of Gaimin Gladiators, stated that the series against Tundra Esports for a spot in the grand finals of The International 2024 was very difficult for his team, as the opponents had Doom in the draft.

The cyber athlete made the relevant comment in an interview on Twitch.

“To be honest, I still have an unreal flurry of emotions. I'm in shock that we won. It was a pretty easy decision to go to throne at the end, but the way we discussed it, what a ruckus it was.

I think we and they were under stress specifically. I had a very difficult game because they had Doom, even though we were expecting it. I don't have words for it.

We knew they had no defense to the throne. I was saying I was going to buy a “rapier.” We thought about what we needed to do. Then we came up with an idea. It's good that the five of us broke right away, that's all.”

The cybersportsman also stated that Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko was able to show a very high-quality game on Slark, which created additional difficulties for the Gaimin Gladiators lineup. Moreover, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov admitted that at a certain point he stopped believing in his squad's victory.

“I would say that vs. Slark. Pure played very strongly, kudos to him. It was very difficult for us to kill him.

Last year we took everyone out for 20 minutes and now we barely crawled. At some point I thought we lost. Last year it was easy, but in the final we were smeared.”

Summarizing the results, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov said that the tense series was good for the team before the grand final.
