Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov doesn’t believe he can succeed in professional Counter-Strike 2.
The player made this statement on Twitch.
“Honestly? It’s incredibly difficult. Imagine, people have been playing CS for as long as I’ve been playing Dota. Well, it’s… I just can’t catch up to them, unfortunately.
If I were to leave Dota’s Tier 1 just to take a break, relax, and then break into CS’s Tier 1... That’s just unbelievable, really tough. But I don’t think that’s in the cards for me. Unfortunately. Just like a Tier 1 CS player becoming a Tier 1 Dota player—it’s impossible. It takes too much time.”
According to Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, the esports player simply won’t be able to catch up to the level of the top players on the CS2 pro scene due to a lack of experience in this esports discipline. The player noted that he would like to achieve success on the Tier 1 CS2 pro scene after leaving Dota 2, but believes that this is practically impossible, just as switching disciplines in the opposite direction is.
As a reminder, Alexey “RuFire” Burakov previously gave a positive assessment of Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov’s chances in professional CS2.
