Dyrachyo revealed the real reason behind Gaimin Gladiators' historic defeat

Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov said that in the grand final of The International 2023, Team Spirit players countered his hero, which caused Gaimin Gladiators to lose the tournament.

The player made this statement on Twitch.

“Why did Spirit win The International against Gladiators? Because they countered me, and the team couldn't carry me. That's just a fact.”

The player also noted that he often came up with strategies for heroes that were not included in the pool of most esports players, but over time, opponents began to ban these characters. As an example, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov cited the hero Alchemist, with whom the esports player won when he was not in the meta.

“When no one was playing Alchemist, I was playing him. And I was winning. Then they banned him. I always hated that.”
