A professional esports player currently carrying for
Tundra Esports, Anton “Dyrachyo” Shkredov, said that it would not be difficult for him to exit the professional scene and pursue something else if Dota 2 is no longer providing him pleasure.
Shkredov has had the chance to explain this in a Cybersport interview.
“I understood that if Dota is not enjoyable for me, then it is okay to not play it. There are so many other things I can do in life”
He further confessed that his perspective has changed after he got kicked from
Gaimin Gladiators. Now, he realizes that Dota 2 as a whole does not have that importance to him like it once did. He also mentioned that he nearly quit the game entirely after he parted ways with GG as he wasn't even doing any public matches after getting into
Tundra Esports.
The accomplished player has expressed before, and he did it once again, that he has plenty of other possibilities in life and therefore it is within his power to quit Dota 2.
Previously this player also shed more light on the motivation behind his kick from
Gaimin Gladiators.
