During the South American closed qualifiers for The International 2025, the team Sin Compromiso — featuring David "Parker" Flores and Moisés "Genek" Santillán — violated the rules by using an infinite ward bug on the second map of the series.

The bug appeared after a Dota 2 update on the night of June 5, but was fixed within a few hours. Nevertheless, it was exploited during an official match. The qualifiers’ organizers responded swiftly: they ruled that the second map must be replayed, and if the score becomes 1–1, a decisive third game will be played.
As a result, the team, which was already leading the series, lost a potential victory due to the rules violation. This incident marks the first of its kind during the TI14 qualifiers.
