World Champion in Dota 2 - Martin "Saksa" Sazdov, talked about lagging issues, balance problems, slow matchmaking, and other issues after patch 7.38. The player has urged Valve to release a patch as soon as possible.
He stated this on an interview released on DreamLeague Season 25.
“Sure, patch 7.38 added diversity, however, it frustrates me more than anything else. I do not know what the developers did, but Dota is now painfully slow and constantly lags. There is something seriously wrong with the game, and sideline needs to optimize the game for the better"
He pointed out that the tempo of the matches have slowed down and there are FPS drops and even input lag in Dota 2 now. The esports player acknowledged the fact that he is extremely bothered by this situation, and noted that he is not alone in the suffering.
"The move to relocate Roshan to the middle of the map was great, except for one detail: the wisdom runes should be completely taken out. Hopefully, they will do that. And the very fact that wisdom runes have a radius of acquisition now makes the situation even worse, because if you are weaker than your opponent, you can’t just swipe it by clicking faster than the enemy. They will be standing there doing nothing, and so will you. That gives an increment to the snowball possibility. And the Tormentor… I don’t understand what the developers had in mind while making that change. The game has become overly reliant on this object that comes into play at the 15-minute mark. This is something I think needs changing. As it is now, Tormentor gives gold to all members of the team, but there’s only one on the map, therefore, fighting each other for it is just too much"
Saksa said Tormentor gives her opponents an unreasonable advantage, and whoever takes it first neutrals the creators of the wisdom runes. A champion believes something will be done within the next Dota 2 patch from Valve regarding these issues.
In the past, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev spoke about the most troubling aspect of patch 7.38’s revision.
