Dota 2 Short Film Contest for The International 2023

Valve on their official website announced that submissions are now open for this year's Dota 2 Short Film Contest. The winning entries will be shown at The International 2023.

Filmmakers must submit their videos, no longer than 90 seconds, to the Steam Workshop until 3:00pm PDT on September 14, 2023. 

The first part of the voting will take place in the Steam Workshop where you can discuss and vote on your favorites to help select the best entries to be featured as part of The International 2023 stream. Valve will nominate the top entries to be featured in the Dota client for a final voting process by the community to determine the winners.

Each finalist that places in the top ten will be guaranteed to win $500, and the top three selections will reap prizes of $25,000, $10,000, and $5,000. The works of the finalists will also be shown during the broadcast of The International 12, which will be held in Seattle in October.
