In patch 7.37, the rewards for killing Roshan have been drastically changed

Valve has decided to overhaul the rewards for killing Roshan in Dota 2 matches by changing the item drop rates and item characteristics in patch 7.37.

After the changes made by the developers, Roshan will now guarantee the drop of Roshan’s Banner after his second death. Additionally, the third Roshan kill rewards players with either a Refresher Shard and Cheese during the day or a Refresher Shard and Aghanim’s Blessing during the night.

Moreover, Valve has also increased the value of Roshan’s Banner by expanding its radius from 600 to 650.

These significant changes to the drops are expected to have a major impact on the current Dota 2 meta, particularly affecting matchmaking and adding more unpredictability to ongoing matches.

Additionally, Valve has reintroduced the highly powerful item Iron Talon, which has surprised players and led to predictions that the jungle meta may return to Dota 2.
