In the new Dota 2 update, patch 7.34d, several heroes from the current meta were nerfed, but Phantom Assassin received the most significant changes.
Patch 7.34d is likely to be used at The International 2023, which starts on October 12th. Therefore, professional players will quickly adapt to the new tournament meta from today.
It's worth noting the nerfs to Phantom Assassin, a hero who gained prominence during the finals of the Asian Games 2022 in the match between China and Mongolia.
Nerfs to Phantom Assassin in patch 7.34d:
Blur
Increased invisibility radius from 400 to 500.
Aghanim's Scepter cooldown changed from 10 seconds to 50% of the current value.
Aghanim's Scepter no longer increases the delay before reappearing.
Coup de Grace
Reduced focus chance from 20% to 17% (for Stifling Dagger, from 40% to 34%).
After these adjustments, it's unlikely that professional players will be able to replicate the overwhelming success of this hero during the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou.
