Zhang "Eurus" Chenjun, also known as Paparazi, may return to the Dota 2 pro scene as a player for
LGD Gaming.
This was reported by the insider Telegram channel Muesli Chinese.
"Xiao8 wants Paparazzi (rumored to be for LGD) in his team. He is literally begging him to come back"
The star midlaner of
Xtreme Gaming has been away from the pro scene for over a year, but he is reportedly being asked to return. Given that insiders have mentioned significant roster changes at
LGD Gaming, it's possible that Paparazi is being considered as the midlaner for the new lineup. However, Paparazi himself has yet to comment on the situation, and LGD Gaming has not made any official announcements.
It’s worth noting that Paparazi is one of the most renowned esports players globally, having earned over $1.2 million throughout his career. Despite his success, he took a break from Dota 2 after Riyadh Masters 2023. Nonetheless, rumors started circulating this summer suggesting that Paparazi might be open to offers to return to the pro scene next season.
Previously, the manager of
Team Spirit made candid remarks about the grand reshuffles at
Gaimin Gladiators.
