Valve has revealed the full story of Kez in a new comic

Valve revealed Kez's backstory by releasing a comic dedicated to the new Dota 2 hero, who will appear in the game with the launch of Crownfall Act 4.

The full version of the comic was published on the official Dota 2 website.

Kez's story reveals that he was once a follower of the Shodo order, which offered training in secret combat techniques for the wingless. However, he was expelled due to frequent misconduct, but Kez found a new path and began to fight against Queen Imperia, freeing numerous wingless prisoners during a festival.

One of the former Shodo masters noticed this and offered Kez training, recognizing his worth through his daring escape from the Pit, a prison.

The comic also hints at Kez's abilities, suggesting he will focus on agility, quick movement, and even minor teleportation, likely similar to Blink. The new hero will engage in close combat, expertly wielding a sword and moving swiftly across the battlefield.

While Valve has yet to officially reveal Kez's abilities, dataminers have already uncovered hints about his skill set.
