Data miners have uncovered the abilities of Kez, who will be the new hero in Dota 2

Fans of Dota 2 have reminded everyone that back in 2023, dataminers discovered potential names for the abilities of the hero Kez, who will appear in Act 4 of Crownfall.

The Telegram channel DOTA_DM even published a screenshot showing the possible abilities of the character.

It is worth noting that even though these are just sketches, the abilities indeed resemble Kez from the official hero trailer shown at The International 2024.

If the leak is accurate and Valve has not made any significant changes, Kez’s three abilities will be Avian Assault, Plumage Parry, and Shadow Feather. Based on the artwork and ability names, it seems that the new hero will rely on Agility. Given the ability names, we can make some assumptions about his future skills.

• Avian Assault might allow the hero to leap or gain temporary flight for jumping into fights or quickly retreating.

• Plumage Parry could enable the hero to block damage for a short time or increase his evasion in melee combat.

• Shadow Feather, given its dark background, might allow Kez to become invisible or invulnerable to enemy attacks for a brief period.

However, this information remains unofficial, as Valve has yet to reveal any details about the new hero appearing in Act 4 of Crownfall.

Recall that it was previously announced that a character known as the Bird Samurai, named Kez, will be introduced as a new hero following Ringmaster.
