Dota 2 Frostivus 2023: NS revealed the start date of the festive event

Frostivus 2023 will be released on the 18th-20th, just after the conclusion of the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 tournament.

This information was shared by former esports player and streamer Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov on his Telegram.

"They extended the Dota Plus autumn season until December 14. This probably suggests that Frostivus won't be released before that date. I would bet it will be somewhere on the 18th-20th. The reason is simple: ESL One Kuala Lumpur ends on the 17th, and releasing an event before the end of this event seems pointless"

NS emphasized that Dota 2 developers are unlikely to organize a holiday event simultaneously with the first major tournament after The International 2023, which will take place from December 11 to 17. It is quite possible that this is also why they extended the autumn season of Dota Plus.

As we mentioned earlier, the rewards are likely to be similar to Frostivus 2019, where players could obtain unique arcanas for heroes and win the unique courier Baby Roshan.
