Dota 2 Frostivus 2023 festive event has begun

With the release of Patch 7.35, the Frostivus 2023 holiday event officially kicked off in Dota 2, bringing a plethora of new items, arcanas, and other thematic rewards for players. The event started on December 14 and will run until January 11, 2024.

The corresponding announcement was posted on the official Dota 2 website.

Developers revealed all the details of the thematic event and what players need to do to earn rewards during this year's Frostivus.

Frostivus Treasure Chests

By winning matches, players will fill a special Frostivus Spirit counter. As a reward, they can receive sealed chests, and by purchasing keys, there is a chance to get extremely rare rewards in the form of holiday arcanas for heroes.

Frostivus Treasure

Players can once again purchase the Frostivus Treasure, where there is a chance to get new arcanas for Wraith King and a persona for Crystal Maiden. Additionally, players can obtain popular arcanas for other heroes from previous events.

Stocking Stuffers

As a reward for filling the Frostivus Spirit counter, players receive not only sealed chests but also stockings with gifts, which contain graffiti, emojis, and other cosmetic items to delight collectors.

Festive Items

During matches, players can dress up their heroes and use snowballs and holiday drinks. Frostivus hats and snowball throwing, in particular, are sure to please players, and now they have unlimited charges.
