Dota 2 didn’t even make it into the top three games at the Esports Awards 2025: who won

The winners of the Esports Awards 2025, according to the players, were annouced, and it turned out that Dota 2 didn’t even make it into the top three, while League of Legends became the winner.

The winners of the fan voting were annonced on the event’s official page on X (Twitter).

Valorant took the second place in the rating of the best esports games. Notably, both games were developed by Riot Games. The shooter was also praised by Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, a two-time Dota 2 world champion.

Nevertheless, another Valve game managed to take the bronze award, and Counter-Strike 2 ended up in third place. Meanwhile, Dota 2 only placed fourth in the voting.

Earlier, Valve also gave a seasonal bonus to Dota 2 subscribers due to the start of winter.
