Data miners have found hints about the next Dota 2 hero – Bird Samurai. Photo

In the game files, changes to the Bakeet icon have been discovered, making it more reminiscent of a samurai. Data miners believe this could be a hint towards the new hero, Bird Samurai, which Valve might announce at The International 2024.

This discovery was shared by a data miner on their Telegram channel, Dota Stepan.

The channel posted an image showing the old Bakeet icon and the new, more warrior-like one. Supporting this theory is the fact that in the Crownfall comics, the character hints at a warrior past and suggests that it may soon be revealed.

However, there is no official confirmation yet, as Valve recently released Ringmaster. Traditionally, the next Dota 2 hero is announced during the grand final of The International 2024.

As a reminder, the Compendium 2024, dedicated to Ringmaster and the Dota 2 World Championship, has also been released.
