Donk Calls for Changes to the Counter-Strike 2 Major Format

Danil “donk” Kryshkovets would like the playoffs for Counter-Strike 2 majors to be held in a double-elimination format.

The player’s statement was posted on Telegram.

“I’d like to see a playoff system at majors like the one at The International—with upper and lower brackets. There will be more matches, but it will be really exciting.”

Acording to Danil “donk” Kryshkovets’ statement, the esports player would like CS2 Major playoffs to follow the example of The International Dota 2 tournament, which features upper and lower brackets. The player believes that this format will not only give teams a second chance at victory but will also make the final stage of the Majors more exciting.
