Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin considers the fifth support position to be the most comfortable for playing in the 7.40c patch meta for Dota 2.
The player shared this opinion on Twitch.
"First of all, I think ‘five’ is a cool role. It's unrealistically cool in the sense that you play on the imba. Like, ‘five’ is just a pleasure to play right now. You have Warlock, who is very hard to lose the lane with, you have Dazzle, who is also very hard to lose the lane with. Jakiro... There are a lot of heroes, actually. Treant Protector is the same, you can play Undying like Fishman. You can play Ringmaster — he's also a decent hero on the lane. In short, it's very difficult to lose the lane, the heroes are highly effective. And if you haven't lost the lane, it gives you a lot in public games because you don't argue. In public games, people often argue if the lane doesn't go well."
According to Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, players in the fifth position have the opportunity to play a variety of imbalanced heroes, with whom it is almost impossible to lose the lane, which is very beneficial for matchmaking. The player believes that in addition to increasing their rating, players in this position also avoid conflicts with teammates, as they rarely lose the lane.
Earlier, Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko named the imbalanced heroes of patch 7.40c, which are almost impossible to defeat in matchmaking.
