DM Explains the Reasons Behind Team Yandex's Losses

Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin stated that Team Yandex's losses in the group stage of the BLAST Slam 7 Dota 2 tournament were due to individual player erors and poor drafts, as well as the team's strugles in the early stages of games.

The player made this statement on his personal Telegram channel.

“We started the group stage very strong. Then, at some point, we started losing. To be honest, we gained valuable insights from those games. We had a tough early game in those matches. Maybe it was the drafts in some cases, the hero pool in others, and in some cases, just individual mistakes.”

Acording to Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, the team gained valuable insights following their loses to Aurora, BetBoom Team, LGD Gaming, and Team Falcons, after which Team Yandex demonstrated solid preparation during the playoff qualifiers, which turned out to be relatively straightforward.

“We didn’t qualify directly for BLAST right away. We had to play qualifiers, which we won quite convincingly, especially the second one. The first one had a dificult early game. There were some controversial moments in the late game where we could have played better, but we still managed to secure the win. The second game was super easy.”
