DM answered whether he plans to retire after The International 2026

Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin stated that he has no plans to retire anytime soon, as he feels he still has enough energy to continue improving in Dota 2.

The player made this statement on YouTube.

“I think I’m still a long way from that. I still feel young—in terms of the number of matches I can play in a day. It’s not like I play a couple of matches and then—that’s it, I can’t play anymore.”

According to Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, the player is still far from making such a decision. The esports athlete believes that one should end their career when they feel tired of the game and lack the energy for constant training and regular official matches. Nevertheless, you should keep playing as long as it’s enjoyable.

“I think it depends on how tired you feel from the game, how much you feel like you can’t handle all of this—playing 24/7. And when you feel that, then it’s time to call it quits. As long as you feel good and enjoy playing—you should keep playing.”
