The streets of the “Cursed Apple” have been invaded by new characters, each ready to shake up the battlefield. Deadlock is introducing six unique heroes:
Mina, a vampire with powerful spirit-based attacks
Billy, a demonic goat
Page, who can bring books to life
Swiss, always at your service
Victor, an unstoppable monster
Drifter, a terror haunting the city
Instead of releasing all of them at once, the developers will unlock a new hero every two days. Players will get to decide who comes next by voting in the revamped “Sanctuary” menu.

Sanctuary — the New Game Hub
The main menu has been replaced with the Sanctuary — a personal space where players can hang out with friends, test heroes, or simply wait for a match.
Interactive terminals within the Sanctuary give access to Play, Watch, and Learn modes. There’s also a training area where players can experiment with hero abilities and movement without loading into a sandbox. The old sandbox is still available, now accessible via teleport.
In the future, the Sanctuary will expand with customization options, achievement tracking, and special events.
Revamped Hero Selection Screen
The hero selection interface has been completely redesigned. It’s now more intuitive, and many existing heroes have received visual upgrades. Developers confirmed that even more hero reworks are planned.

Hero Voting System
The first new hero to arrive is Mina — a deadly “glass cannon” that deals massive spirit damage. Her passive ability, Love Bites, increases her lifesteal throughout the match, while her ultimate, Lord of the Night, unleashes a swarm of bats that attack and silence enemies.

The remaining heroes will be released on a fixed schedule — Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays over the next two weeks. Each new release will also be accompanied by a balance patch.
