Valve has released the biggest update yet for Deadlock, adding six new heroes and introducing a new matchmaking mode called Hero Labs.
The full patch notes were published on the official game testers' forum.
It was noted that although these new heroes have been added, they are still subject to changes. The community will have a direct influence on the appearance and abilities of these characters. Hero Labs was introduced as a testing mode where players can try out all the new, unfinished heroes. In other words, some heroes may still be missing abilities or have incomplete designs.

Wrecker
Fathom

Magician
The developers pointed out that while the heroes are already available in Hero Labs, not all of them are fully complete. Some abilities are placeholders or temporary substitutes. For example, Magician currently lacks a proper ultimate ability.
Additionally, a new commendation feature allows players to rate their teammates. Players can praise others during or after a match, and these commendations will be tracked separately for each hero. The update also adds a ranked match history and addresses numerous bug fixes, making this patch one of the largest updates in Deadlock’s history.
Previously, Deadlock introduced a ranking system and full ranks, highly anticipated by the player community.
