Dataminers have uncovered two new abilities for Kez that will be added in the future

Dataminers discovered unused abilities for Kez in the Dota 2 files, which even have recorded voice lines, and will likely be added to the game in the future.

The findings were reported by dataminers on the Telegram channel Dota Stepana.

Two possible abilities have been identified, named Blood Feather and Shadow Clone. It’s likely that the first ability is intended to increase damage or grant lifesteal, though there are no further details available except for Kez’s aggressive voice lines.

Blood Feather:

• "Flurry of feathers, ocean of blood!"

• "Blood feather fury!"

• "Blood feather feast!"

The second ability, Shadow Clone, suggests that Kez might summon a shadow clone, which could function similarly to illusions but with increased damage.

Shadow Clone:

• "Evil shadow twin!"

• "Now you gotta kill two birds!"

It’s unknown when Valve might add these abilities to the hero. There’s also a possibility that Kez could be given a choice between abilities depending on a specific aspect chosen in the future.
