Dataminers shocked fans with news of a major update from Valve

Dataminers have found clear hints that Valve may release a major CS2 update with a unique pet feature.

This was reported by the Telegram channel "MOLESKORLUPA", which published a video and screenshots confirming the changes.

Among the finds are animations in which the player holds a chicken in different poses, as well as a separate menu card for interacting with pets.

In addition, dataminer Maxim "Gabe Follower" Poletaev found a mention of a new cosmetic item - an egg model called egg_pristine, which is likely related to the new pet system.

Although rumors about the possible addition of pets to CS2 have been circulating since 2024, Valve has not officially confirmed this information until now. However, many fans and analysts believe that the published hints are almost a guaranteed confirmation of the addition of this feature in one of the next updates.
