Dataminers have revealed Valve’s plans for 2026 in Dota 2

In the Dota 2 files after the release of patch 7.40, placeholders for four Quarteros Curios events in 2026 were discovered, which may hint at Valve’s plans to hold even more events.

The dataminer shared his discovery in the Telegram channel “Dota Stepana”.

It is worth noting that the winter Quarteros Curios started on December 12 and will last until March 6 and this means that after that another announced event may start before a new Quarteros season is launched.

However if earlier Quarteros Curios served as a placeholder during periods without events, now Valve has launched an event even during the Monster Hunter crossover. Players also expect that the developers may launch a holiday event related to Frostivus or start celebrating the Chinese New Year in Dota 2.

Recall that earlier another new hero appeared in Dota 2 together with Largo, after the release of patch 7.40.
