Dataminers have revealed the start date of Diretide 2025 in Dota 2

Dataminers predict that the Diretide holiday event will start in Dota 2, most likely on October 21-22 or October 28-29.

"Meanwhile, the staging server continues to be updated, and the content has not been released yet, so I am increasingly inclined to believe that Diretide is coming (remember that Halloween is on October 31). In the context of the latest updates, it would be more logical to assume that the update will be released either on the 21st-22nd or the 28th-29th, otherwise Valve would have moved away from Thursday-Friday and would now be dropping updates on Tuesday-Wednesday during those works"

It is noted that the Dota 2 test server continues to be updated, but no new content has appeared in the game. In this regard, Fay predicts that Valve is preparing for the launch of Diretide. It is worth noting that many players were expecting this event last year, but the developers still skipped it.

The last time Diretide, dedicated to Halloween, was celebrated in the game was back in 2022 and featured activities that allowed players to unlock unique skins and receive other rewards for completing tasks.

It is also noted that Valve has moved away from its usual practice of releasing major updates on Thursdays and Fridays and now does so on days when technical work is being carried out on the Steam servers.

Valve itself has not yet commented on this information, nor has it released any announcements about the holiday event.
