Dataminers have found hints of the release of a new hero, Frog Bard, in Dota 2

Data miners came across the fact that Valve already allocated within the Dota 2 code the IDs 822-827 for the future deployment of the new hero, Frog Bard.

The Telegram channel Dota Stepana has shared this discovery.”

“Before the update, the last used ID for the cosmetic item slots was 821 (Kez's Belt). With the introduction of Terraplant’s update, a hero base slot was included for WindRanger and its ID is 828. I suppose it's all right to assume that IDs 822-827 are all set aside for the next hero – Frog Bard”

But none of these suggests anything to do with the new Frostivus update aside from facts which would allow us direct towards the likelihood of a new hero being introduced into the game Mid 2025.
