Dataminers have found hints in the Dota 2 update about a possible reward for the Compendium 2025

Compendium 2025 may feature a new HUD — this is hinted at by changes in the Dota 2 code discovered by data miners after the latest update from Valve.

This was reported by a data miner in the Telegram channel Fay.

“There is one interesting schizo moment here: they affected the files for the interface styles, and they, if you didn’t know, are nominally divided into HUDs before Reborn and HUDs after Reborn (HUDs after Reborn include all HUDs from previous compendiums). So, only HUDs after Reborn were affected. Therefore, this is either just a coincidence and file optimization (which is more likely), or it is a hint that in the new Compendium we will get a new HUD (and this, by the way, was almost the only cosmetic reward in the last two compendiums)”

He also specified that the code changes affected the lines related to HUDs, previously available as a reward for participating in previous compendiums. This may indicate the preparation of a new cosmetic reward - HUD in the Compendium 2025.

However, the data miner emphasized that at the moment there is no certainty that Valve is really planning to add a new HUD - perhaps the update only concerns internal file optimization. Despite this, more and more indirect hints indicate that the 2025 Compendium will indeed be released, and the appearance of HUD as a reward is quite likely.
