Dataminer reveals release date for new Dota 2 patch

Dataminer Fay expects a new major patch for Dota 2 to be released on the night of December 11-12.

The analyst shared this opinion on Telegram.

“We are waiting for content today. Let me remind you that last year, Winter Solstice was released on December 19.”

According to the dataminer, the staging servers are currently undergoing very active updates, which is a very important sign of the imminent release of the patch. Fay also noted that more than 200 days have passed since the release of the previous major update, which is one of the longest intervals between global patches in the history of Dota 2.

“At the moment, the staging server is still being updated almost every day. It has been 200 days since the last major patch, which is already almost a record for days without a patch in history.”

It should be noted that the date mentioned by the dataminer marks the end of the Dota Plus fall season, which also indirectly points to the release of the patch.
