Dastan Explained How He Communicates with the PARIVISION Dota 2 Roster

Dastan “Dastan” Akbaev stated that he interacts with the Dota 2 roster members when he runs into them at PARIVISION bootcamps.

The team’s CS2 coach discused this on Twitch.

“I wouldn’t say we’re super close, but when they come to bootcamp from time to time, I drop by to hang out and have a laugh. I’ve seen Puppey. He’s a legend, too. He was already a legend back when I was still in school. It’s fun to hang out and chat with him. His Russian is really good. It’s really cool.

No[o]ne and I get along really well. He reminds me of Jame. He’s level-headed and mature. Very articulate. The way he speaks… When I joined PARIVISION, I talked with No[o]ne. They were having a media day, and they were filming me at the same time. And that’s when I first spoke with No[o]ne. He’s a legend to me, too. He’s someone who’s achieved truly incredible results. After five majors, his results took a dip, but he still came back and proved he’s a top-tier player. And when I talk to him now… He’s genuine, doesn’t show off, and doesn’t have any hang ups. He’s a grown man now—he knows what he wants, takes everything in stride, and is polite. It’s nice.

I also talked to 9Class. I probably talked to Noticed the least, but I’d crossed paths with him back in my Virtus.pro days. I’d see him somewhere and be like, “Oh, Ilya M0nesy.” I still see him and say, “Oh, Ilya M0nesy.” They’re very similar. Maybe less so now, but there’s still a certain resemblance.

They won almost a million dollars. Man, that’s so cool. When they win… It’s not like we’re in one world and they’re in another. I still feel it somehow. I understand that their achievements are incredible. And I got a real rush out of it. And even if their victory doesn’t give me complete confidence, it does give me a certain percentage of it.”

Acording to a statement by Dastan “Dastan” Akbaev, the esports player has great respect for Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, considering him a legend of the Dota 2 pro scene. The PARIVISION CS2 coach also holds Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko in high regard, considering him a very experienced and mature player. Dastan noted that he communicated with all the players on the Dota roster, but had the least interaction with Evgeny “Noticed” Ignatenko.
