Cyber TRAKTOR disqualified from WePlay! Pushka League Season 1, after one of their players has been proven to have had illegal betting activity against his own team. The studio gave ban to Arthur “Retsu” Kotsoev to participate in tournaments from WePlay! for one year, until May 2, 2021.
According to the tournament organizers, Cyber TRAKTOR team will be replaced by Team Unique. The new roster will begin its participation in the league with the same result as Cyber TRAKTOR (1-1).Anton “WarLocK” Tokarev - head of the eSports department of WePlay! commented on this situation:
We understand that Cyber TRAKTOR is in complicated circumstances with its Dota 2 roster that is still on probation. It’s not easy to commit to such decisions, but we see no other choice if we want to prevent such incidents in the future.
Evgeny Belozertsev, Cyber TRAKTOR representative commented on this incident:
Thank you for the trust and an opportunity to participate in the next season of the league. We couldn’t predict what had happened. In the future, we will be controlling our players during official matches and practice more closely.
