Valve writer Chet Faliszek, who also worked on CS:GO, admitted that he did not play Counter-Strike 2, but was a fan of the legendary CS1.6.

The writer shared this on YouTube.

"No, I don't play it. If you didn't know, I worked on the launch of CS:GO, so this may seem strange, but let me explain. I played 1.6 a lot when it came out because there was nothing else like it. It was an incredible game, a lot of fun. Ido Magal invited me to join the CS:GO team to help with the overall message of the game and communication with our community."

According to Chet Faliszek, he joined the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team because of his passion for CS1.6 and helped work on the shooter, helping to preserve the original atmosphere, but now he prefers games that require strategic thinking in addition to shooting, believing that he will not be able to play Counter-Strike 2 successfully. Chet Faliszek considers Battlefield 6 to be his favorite game.

"Playing CS2? They just kill me right away. I need to play shooters that involve some kind of strategy. Maybe with tanks or something else. That's why my favorite right now is Battlefield 6. And my playing style now doesn't involve too long gaming sessions where you have to be in the match all the time. But I still like to follow CS2 and see its progress."

We would like to remind you that earlier, the well-known esports player Denis “Electronic” Sharipov resumed playing Counter-Strike 2 after two months of inactivity.
