Crystallis spoke out after the team’s failure at the EWC, noting the uncertain future of the Mouz roster

Remco “Crystallis” Aretz isn’t sure if the MOUZ roster will continue playing together following the team’s defeat at the Esports World Cup 2026.

The player made this statement in an interview with Hotspawn.

“Not yet. We don’t know what will happen next. We’ll see how things play out over the next few weeks. There are almost no major tournaments coming up, so maybe we’ll go back to grinding. I don’t know yet.”

Acording to Remco “Crystallis” Arets, the roster’s fate will be decided in the coming weeks, and due to the lack of major tournaments in the near future—other than TI15, which MOUZ failed to qualify for—the players will most likely return to playing in matchmaking.

It’s worth noting that MOUZ exited the Dota 2 EWC in the top 16 after a loss in the first round of the knockout stage.
