Andreas «Cr1t» Nielsen stated that Yegor «Nightfall» Grigorenko never managed to show good results in
Evil Geniuses due to adaptation difficulties, language barrier, and unwillingness to adjust to the team’s style.
The esports player told this during an interview on KheZu’s YouTube channel.
«It was a tough year for us. We went through a lot. Everything went wrong from the very start. We couldn’t get the visa, so Bulba had to stay with Nightfall in Mexico. That was the very beginning of that team. I think we didn’t fit Nightfall culturally. We had to work a lot. Yegor worked harder than others. It was hard for him. We tried to adjust him to ourselves, but it just didn’t work. He didn’t want to change his playstyle»
Cr1t noted that Nightfall indeed worked a lot and tried to overcome the language barrier. However, he mentioned that the offlaner still couldn’t adapt to the team, and
Evil Geniuses didn’t manage to show good results.
According to him, the main problem was that Nightfall didn’t want to change his playstyle, so after a year he eventually moved to
BetBoom Team.
