Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev believes that modern Dota 2 is undergoing degradation and turning into something akin to a casino.
The corresponding statement was made by the well-known streamer during his personal Twitch broadcast.
"I haven't played Dota for a long time, but I watch highlights. Every time someone complains in them that something is wrong with Dota, I start to understand them. Such trashy games. Either you win against complete noobs with no chances, or you lose. It doesn't depend on you. Dota just turns into a casino."
Zaur "Cooman" Shakhmurzaev's career in the Dota 2 pro scene ended in August 2022 after leaving
Team Empire.
Team Spirit's carry, Ilya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk, previously expressed a similar thought about matchmaking games.
"I've never been to a casino, but Dota 2 feels like one. Earned MMR — leave."
It is worth reminding that earlier, Quinn "Quinn" Callahan reached the top of the European MMR ladder in Dota 2.
