Collapse questioned his MVP status at the Riyadh Masters 2025

Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov believes that he undeservedly received the MVP medal at the Riyadh Masters 2025. The esports player noted that all Team Spirit members, including managers and coaches, made a significant contribution to the victory, but still singled out Denis “Larl” Sigitov.

The player shared this in an interview with Taverna Publishing.

“Probably Larl. Everyone on the team did their best, everyone gave it their all. I feel like I got the MVP unfairly. I can't downplay anyone on our team, even the managers and coach — everyone did a great job. I would share this MVP with everyone.”

The player also compared Team Spirit's victory at the Riyadh Masters 2025 with the 2023 tournament. According to Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov, the grand final against Team Liquid was much more difficult because the opponents were at the peak of their form, while before the decisive series this year, the player assessed both potential opponents as fairly weak opponents.

“I think it was in 2023. Back then, Liquid was also in the zone, but now there was a total outplay between the teams. Yesterday, I watched Tundra and Falcons and thought that we would beat both of them. No offense to either team, it was just a feeling I had.”
