Magomed 'Collapse' Khalilov elucidated on what the team’s actions had helped
Team Spirit to take away a victory on
Xtreme Gaming in the decisive map of the PGL Wallachia Grand Final. According to him, they barely avoided being defeated until the last second.
The cyber athlete gave a detailed breakdown of how the final minutes of the final game went in his post-match interview during a Twitch streaming of that tournament.
“We killed Roshan, now they are coming for us right? Ok. We have them all dead;
Anti-Mage is alive, I am also dead and
Leshrac says he will not redeem himself. So if we just wait for him to come back into play then everything is ok. However, suddenly there came Ilyuha who hit
Enchantress and next thing you know
Faceless Void is running at me with a Chronosphere over my head. Then I see after
Aegis Of The Immortal Ilyuha begins to rise up and think “I need to save this boy”. Before I knew it; I was buybacking myself into that fight… There were some calls but i do not remember any specifics about them.
It actually turned out like that:
Faceless Void killed someone; I buybacked and ended three without a buyback but got only Tron. That’s why they said that we should save packs because potentially
Pangolier would be cutting this pack within 2 sec. Done! He has been killed! And then when we reached Tron no creeps were found there anymore. After
Puck kinda died here we saw “no creeps”, lives and “crips, crips, crips, crips.” And then they said GG, yes? And by that time our whole team was like Agh mmmmmmyyyyy!
Eventually
Team Spirit won with score 3-2 in favor of themselfs. Each map was extremely tense, as both teams were fighting furiously to tip the scales in their favor. They won on the second, fourth and final maps.
It should be recalled that Yaroslav ‘Miposhka’ Naydenov – team captain of
Team Spirit – also made comments about the win at the grand finals.
