Collapse commented on the unexpected changes in Team Spirit

Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov stated that on the second map of match witch G2 x iG his teammates offered him to play on the mid, switching roles with Denis “Larl” Sigitov. The player agreed, although he had only rarely played this position in matchmaking before.

The Team Spirit offlaner commented on the results of the first playoff match at The International 2024 in an interview on Twitch.

“On the first map I was offlane, and on the second map I was told, 'You're going mid, we have a new mid, and Larl is going offlane.'

We saw from the initial purchase of Windranger that it would go to mid.I was told to go mid, I didn't mind. Not really. I go mid once every six months in the publicks. Just not on Kunkka, but on Magnus. That's my signature hero for mid.”

It is worth noting that the player was able to defeat in solo Windranger while playing on Kunkka.

Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov also revealed that after the loss to Nouns, the team decided not to experiment with drafts, but to choose only heroes that are comfortable for them.

“We made some mistakes in the drafts, so now we take heroes that are comfortable for ourselves.”
