Magomed "Collapse" Khalilov, the offlaner of
Team Spirit, said that he plans to end his pro career if he becomes the first ever three-time Dota 2 world champion.
The esports player talked about this during an interview on FISSURE Playground 2.
"If I do it first, I’ll start thinking about ending my career. If I’m not the first one who lifted the third Aegis, then I’ll probably want to keep playing — to become the first four-time champion. I just want to be the first in something. After that, the goal will be completed"
Collapse mentioned that he’ll seriously think about retiring if he manages to set a Dota 2 world record. According to him, this could happen in two ways: if he becomes the first three-time The International winner, or the first player to lift the Aegis four times.
He explained that his main goal is to be the first, and after that, he already has other plans not connected to Dota 2. Moreover he even said that after that he’d be ready to start a family.
It’s important to note that earlier Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov set a special restriction for Collapse after
Team Spirit defeat.
